co-director

CHERYL FALK’s distinguished career as an artistic director links the standards of highly aesthetic performances with the goals of music education. Falk is well known in the recording world for her artistic vocal and choral arrangements. A highly decorated lyricist with success writing everything from commercial jingles to award winning songs. With hundreds of successful projects under her belt including billboard chart toppers, she is sought after as both a producer and arranger. She began her professional singing career in college at Seattle Pacific University. She sang with Seattle Opera for several years, then performed as a singer/dancer with the Fifth Avenue. She received undergraduate degrees in both Vocal Performance and Music Education. After college she began instructing in public schools as both a classroom and private vocal teacher. In the meantime, she completed a fifth year masters degree in Music Education. She began teaching at the college level but found her true niche with children.

ASHLEY SUN has formerly been on our staff as a choreographer, Assistant Director, Executive Director and had worked under the tutelage of Cheryl Falk for the last decade. Before that, she was a student in the program, studied voice, dance, and piano privately for years and has either taught or performed in herself, every show on our docket! She graduated with her Undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and later earned her Master’s in Teaching at Western Governor’s University. She is endorsed in both Elementary Education and Music, has taught Kindergarten, Elementary Music, and is now home at Harmony Youth Collective to continue working with the wonderful families of this organization.

AIMEE NOLAN was previously on our Board of Directors and had volunteered weekly at our rehearsals as she has expertise in theater, dance, and teaching. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Theater, Master's in Teaching Elementary Education and has been a Kindergarten teacher for the last 15 years. Before that, she was a high school dance team coach and choreographer, as well as a dance studio teacher for ballet, tap, and jazz.
